Responsibilities
Conduct independent needs assessments and ensure continuous material flow using SAP
Ensure timely procurement and order processing of raw materials, goods, and other supplies
Contribute to the planning, management, control, and optimization of purchasing processes
Assist the Quality Assurance team in managing and resolving complaints linked with purchased goods
Support central accounting and internal departments to facilitate on-time payments in line with company policies
Source and evaluate prices for externally manufactured semi-finished products, merchandise, and services, including supplier selection
Negotiate supply contracts to secure favorable terms
Maintain and update master data, including the onboarding of new suppliers
Collaborate effectively with all departments—including international procurement—while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, standards, and internal guidelines
Qualifications
Completed apprenticeship; further qualification as a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist (IHK) is a plus
Fluent in German and English
Strong user skills in SAP and MS Office 365
Demonstrates confidence, initiative, accountability, and strong communication and teamwork skills
High awareness of quality and cost, with a proactive and professional approach
