Duties:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Education:
BSN preferred. 2. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. 3. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. 4. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. 5. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Skills:
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Grand Blvd., Detroit 48202 Cost Center 204095: Labor & Delivery 4 positions needed Start date: 5/27/25; End date: 9/6/25 Experience in labor and delivery o Experience with high risk Be able to circulate operating room for c-section Must have NRP and BLS Nurse to patient Ratio: o 95% of the time, 1:1 o Possibly 2:2 – observation patients or early labor/postpartum Self starter, good communication Schedule o 3-days a week o 7pm-730am Hours Per Week: 36.00 Hours Per Day: 8.00 Days Per Week: 5.00
