Position Summary Etiome is seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist focusing on neurobiology.
Responsibilities
Planning, executing, and analyzing hands‑on, wet‑bench experiments involving primary and iPSC‑derived neural cell types, including but not limited to MEA studies, sc/snRNAseq studies, and immunohistological studies.
Culturing and maintaining primary and iPSC‑derived cell cultures, including co‑cultures and organoids.
Planning, executing, and analyzing in‑vivo studies focused on neurobiology.
Analyzing and interpreting single‑cell/single‑nuclei RNAseq studies.
Interpreting, organizing, and presenting biological data.
Maintaining good documentation.
Requirements
Expertise in neuroscience and neurodegenerative disorders, preferably Alzheimer’s Disease.
Ph.D. in neurobiology, biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, or a related field.
Hands‑on experience with in‑vitro assays using iPSC‑derived neurons and relevant co‑cultures, microelectrode array technology, β‑amyloid and/or tau seeding assays.
Hands‑on experience with Alzheimer’s Disease relevant in‑vivo mouse models.
Experience with bulk and single‑cell/single‑nuclei RNAseq data generation and data analysis workflows.
Strong organization and time‑management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and good documentation practices.
