Registered Nurse, TOG Float Pool Status:

Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift. Travel to all TOG Clinic/Infusion sites required. Overview

TOG is a leader in medical oncology services, delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy at affiliated infusion centers. Our team includes board-certified, fellowship-trained medical oncologists and certified advanced practice providers delivering on-site care. Position Summary

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Responsibilities

Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care. Assesses needs of patient and family. Develops and initiates plan of care, involving patient and family. Recommends interventions. Evaluates plan of care. Clinical expertise to resolve complex patient/management/physician problems without supervision. Demonstrates competence in delivering age-appropriate care. Leads process improvement initiatives in their unit or participates in facility teams. Precepts new employees/students or attends preceptor workshops; may precept and review clinical performance with unit leader or instructor. Provides four contact hours of educational activities, excluding basic patient education. Contributes to development and evaluation of unit orientation program. Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications

Minimum Education:

None specified; must meet standards for license/certification as required by issuing authority. Minimum Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years professional experience. Licensure:

Valid Tennessee RN license. Fire/security, infection control, and CPR in-services are required. OCN preferred. Continuing Education:

Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours annually plus ACLS; or Ten (10) hours plus specialty certification; or Ten (10) hours plus ACLS instructor. Additional Details
