Job Responsibilities
Provide students with course syllabus, grading/attendance policy, and other relevant information in a timely manner. Relate instructional materials, discussions, and examples and illustrations. Pace the instructor over the academic term and maintain a positive learning environment. Provide students with timely assessments and return assessment results promptly. Relate assessments to course objectives and follow department and college grading policies. Utilize appropriate instructional technology. Submit reports in a timely manner and practice effective class management. Prioritize duties, use time wisely, and adhere to class schedules and meeting times. Provide effective classroom/lab supervision and maintain accurate records. Handle students’ work and records in a professional manner. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology. (Counseling degrees will not satisfy this requirement.)
