was established in 1989. In 2007, due to our growing business, we underwent a major remodel, expanding our facility to include three exam rooms, a large lobby, and a surgery suite with an attached treatment/pre-op/post-op room. Today, our
full-service veterinary team
cares for a variety of small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and more. Position Purpose: Join us as an extern!
Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 4th-year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' from day one. Externships typically last two weeks, and Heartland covers lodging costs if needed. The duration of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well. Requirements/Qualifications: Eligibility Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school. Must be able to provide student PLIT.
