UTMB BMB seeks a tenured or tenure-eligible faculty member (Associate or Full Professor) in gene regulation. The appointee will sustain a nationally visible, externally funded research program, combining high-throughput epigenomics with broad bioinformatics experience, including software development; provide leadership in graduate education; and mentor trainees. Responsibilities
Sustained, peer-reviewed publication record in gene regulation. Demonstrated success in securing extramural funding and leading a research team. (e.g., NIH mechanisms) Evidence of graduate teaching/mentoring and programmatic contributions. Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, or a related field. Salary
