Doctor of Optometry

Overview Eyes & Optics has partnered with iHire to reach top talent for a full‑time Optometrist position. The practice is located in the Bronx at 56 East 170th Street, Bronx, NY 10452.

Responsibilities

Practice full‑scope Optometry, including treatment and management of ocular diseases such as Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Ocular Surface disease.

Utilize state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic instruments—Visual Field, Fundus Camera, Optical Coherence Tomography, B‑scan Ultrasonography, Corneal Topography, and Specular Microscopy—for patient assessment.

Collaborate with a dedicated team of technicians to perform pre‑testing and diagnostic testing.

Provide care in a clean, friendly environment with a welcoming patient base.

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.

Less than 1 year of post‑graduation experience.

Motivated to build and lead a private practice.

Benefits & Compensation

Contract employment type.

Annual salary: $150,000 – $180,000.

Bonus/Commission available.
