Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 1890 W CR 419, Suite 1000, Oviedo, FL 32765
Schedule: PRN, weekdays only
Clinic Hours: Mon 8–6 | Tue 9–6 | Wed 8–5 | Thu 9–6 | Fri 8–5
Pay: $27–$30/hour
Select Physical Therapy is hiring a PRN PTA for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Oviedo. Mentorship available. Flexible candidates may be considered for expanded hours or full-time roles. New grads encouraged to apply. Center Manager is a PT and board-certified OCS.
Responsibilities
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process).
Minimum 2 years outpatient orthopedics experience.
CPR Certification.
