Responsibilities
Provides person‑centered wellness focused support to engage individuals in treatment and promote use of their wellness recovery plans; shares lived recovery experiences to inspire hope, increase engagement, and help articulate personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency, and self‑advocacy; knowledgeable about signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance disorders and assists in addressing them via individualized wellness plans; serves as peer supporter, advocate, and role model; coordinates outreach, monitoring, advocacy, daily living support, crisis intervention, family consultation, functional skill development, transportation, and other services; may deliver services in group or individual settings; participates in special events, conferences, workshops, and training; collaborates with staff, hospitals, and community agencies; documents all contacts and activities. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be, or previously have been, a recipient of mental health or substance use disorder services and should be well along in recovery. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Fingerprints, state and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and Central Registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Agency maintains a drug‑free workplace. Annual Salary Range
