Position Title PRN/On Call Tutor - Nurse
Position Summary Provides academic support to nursing students enrolled in courses focused on caring for patients with complex acute and chronic conditions. Reinforces evidence‑based practice, clinical judgment, and ethical decision‑making in the acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Tutor students individually or in small groups to enhance understanding of complex nursing concepts and clinical reasoning.
Support application of evidence‑based practice and sound nursing judgment in acute and chronic care.
Collaborate with faculty to align tutoring with course content and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Current, unencumbered RN license.
Recent acute or critical care experience.
Prior teaching, precepting, or tutoring experience preferred.
Schedule
On‑call, flexible hours based on student and course needs.
