Noble is seeking a
Recreation Therapist
who will provide therapeutic recreation services to individuals with disabilities in their communities and in center-based day programs to improve or maintain physical, cognitive, social, and emotional functioning in order to facilitate full participation in life.
This position will have significant autonomy and will often work alone with clients in the field, providing hands-on interventions related to adapted recreation and life skills.
The Recreation Therapist Will Be Responsible For
Conducting assessments and developing goals for individuals
Completing billing and progress notes, and other communications with contracting agencies
Planning and conducting adaptive sports and recreation programs for groups of individuals with disabilities
Requirements To be successful, you must:
Have a Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or recreation/leisure with an option in therapeutic recreation
Be credentialed as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)
Meet driving insurability and background check requirements
