Responsibilities
Responsible for control and maintaining all records for the monthly periodic testing program.
Responsible for special testing, plating and anodizing for qualification testing and new process approvals.
Responsible for upkeep of humidity and salt spray logs and tanks.
Responsible for sending plating panels out for purity testing.
Performing periodic testing (Including sample preparation IAW specification or defined procedures) as required
Monthly outside testing, plating various plating finishes (Gold & Silver purity, Electroless Nickel composition, hydrogen uptake and boron composition).
Lap Shear Testing
The analysis of periodic testing data, including trend analysis
Proper operation of testing equipment as required by specification (e.g. XRF, Hardness Machines, Metallograph, CMM Gages, Salt Spray & Humidity, Autoclave Press). Particle counts when required
Assist QC in assembly as required
Assist QC in inspection as required, and in training for canister inspection
Special testing for new special process approvals
Perform the required analysis of testing data, including trend analysis
Assure that the Quality Lab is maintained in good condition, clean and organized.
Assure that the Periodic testing packages are issued and completed on time.
Ability to read and interpret plating and finishing specifications
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Education Preferred
Associates
Experience Preferred
Working knowledge of order processing systems; database, word processing, internet, and spreadsheet software.
