Job Overview
Haemonetics is seeking a Regional Clinical Manager (RCM) to lead the Regional Clinical Specialist (RCS) team within a region. The RCM reports to the Regional Sales Director and collaborates with Account Managers to execute regional and territory strategic objectives. The RCM facilitates onboarding, training, clinical competency, and professional development of the region’s clinical team and drives new customer acquisition, clinical education, and training to support regional sales goals.
Essential Duties
Lead, train, and develop clinical specialist personnel to execute objectives aligned with the Interventional field leadership team.
Recruit, retain, and develop the clinical specialist team through effective leadership and clear communication.
Identify and maintain productive relationships with key physicians, decision makers, customers, and administrative staff.
Provide clinical expertise to end users in accordance with product instructions for use to facilitate procedural consistency and optimal outcomes.
Identify issues related to Haemonetics products and escalate to the Regional Sales Director; provide in-service training if usage is incorrect or ineffective.
Facilitate clinical training and onboarding of new field personnel.
Support education and training activities with physicians, hospital staff, and Haemonetics personnel; stay informed of clinical data regarding Haemonetics portfolio.
Recognize competitive products and industry trends relevant to Haemonetics products.
Oversee local education and training activities, including program setup, procedural troubleshooting, and staff in-services.
Serve as region expert for Interventional Technology procedures and lead simulation and training initiatives.
Present Haemonetics clinical papers and value proposition while complying with external regulations and internal policy.
Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications Education
Bachelors of Arts or Science (Required)
Health science and appropriate registrations or certifications (RN, RCIS, RCSA, RVMS, etc.)
Experience
6+ years direct experience in the medical device industry in clinical support; strong clinical orientation with interventional and structural cardiology products; extensive cardiac cath lab experience or as a scrub nurse/tech for Structural Heart procedures.
3+ years leadership or managerial experience in managing a clinical team.
3+ years medical device experience.
3+ years in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology in a clinical or commercial role.
Skills
Proven managerial skills for coaching and development.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence clinicians, nurses, and lab staff.
Experience with structural heart clinical specialist responsibilities.
Ability to communicate persuasively and tailor the Interventional Technologies value proposition.
Analytical with financial acumen and understanding of product impact on health-system performance.
Ability to maintain professional relationships with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail for records and reports; thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customer base.
Emotional intelligence to manage schedule and workload effectively.
Values teamwork and collaboration with internal teams and customers.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Physical Demands
Sitting, standing, walking; reaching with hands and arms; kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.
Lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.
Fine motor skills for small movements and keyboarding.

Travel Expectations Regular domestic travel: 25-50%

Pay Transparency The base pay offered will consider location, education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Incentives may be provided. Sales roles may be eligible for sales incentives; non-sales roles may be eligible for discretionary annual bonuses. Long-term incentive plan eligibility varies by role.
