No Frills Program , which offers a base rate of

$36.00 per hour . Shifts include evening (3 p‑11 p), overnight (11 p‑7 a), and weekend. Sign‑on bonuses:

$7,500

for full‑time evening, overnight, or double weekend shifts and

$5,000

for all other full‑time shifts. Competitive pay up to $36/hr with differential rates. $5,000 loan assistance for home purchase. 401(k) with 50% employer match. Essential Functions of a No Frills Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Make rounds to all residents/patients at least twice a shift and PRN. Investigate employee problems/incidents and handle per procedure. Notify RN of resident/patient problems (medical, physical, psychological, family, physician). Round with physicians, call them for changes in resident condition (after notifying RN) and transcribe orders. Handle resident incidents, emergencies, transfers, admissions, and deaths per procedure with supervisor assistance. Participate in the care planning process. Complete required documentation (Nurse’s Notes, summaries, flow sheets). Check emergency equipment at shift start. Count controlled medications with incoming/outgoing nurses. Pass scheduled and PRN medications for each resident; evaluate PRN efficacy. Follow all policies for medication administration and documentation. Verify orders for accuracy. Contact pharmacy for reorders and discrepancies, and notify RN. Maintain clean medication room and cart. Assist charge nurse with summaries, charting, and other duties. Direct and supervise direct care staff. Monitor meals in unit dining room or main dining room. Assist with transcribing physician orders. Round with physicians in absence of another nurse or per assignment. Contribute to resident/patient care plans. Administer resident/patient treatments per physician/nursing orders. Evaluate PRN treatment needs. Follow treatment administration policies and documentation. Maintain clean treatment cart(s). Notify RN of treatment discrepancies. Physical Requirements

Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs. Bend, lift, and transport equipment and residents. Use computer. Qualifications

Valid NY LPN license. Preferred skilled nursing experience. Seniority Level
