The Clinical Fellow (CF) position is a 10-12 month program. During this time the fellow will be supervised by a NYS licensed SLP with ASHA certification. To receive NYS licensure and ASHA certification at the end of the program, the CF must demonstrate proficiency in all areas required by the state and by the national certifying bodies. Who are we?

Our collaborative teams provide comprehensive care across development by offering services including: Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Diagnostic Evaluations (service availability varies by location). Essential Functions
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Conduct evaluations and service delivery Timely completion of paperwork Participate in mandatory supervision visits Attend weekly speech department meetings Competencies
The CF must be able to effectively communicate with children, parents, districts, DOH personnel and agency staff. What you’ll be doing
Attend a weekly group meeting and meet with the CF supervisor Participate in trainings and in-services Participate in IFSP/CPSE/CSE meetings for clients Work Environment
Services may take place both in the field and in office environments. Physical Demands
Carry equipment and necessary items to client homes, daycares and schools May need to lift children up to 50 pounds Get on/off the floor as needed Travel Required
CF must be able to drive to service clients. Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology NYS TSSLD certification Additional Requirements
Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure No prior criminal history Ability to utilize technology; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Teams Our Mission, Vision, and Values
