Overview
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP) at THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services. This is a full-time or part-time position based in the San Antonio region, San Antonio, Texas. What You’ll Do
Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy. Use clinical judgment to develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders. Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers. Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between various providers and disciplines. Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency. Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other required paperwork. Collaborate with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and quality standards for home-health pediatric speech-language pathology. Perform duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures and applicable laws and ethical guidelines. What You’ll Need
A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas. An innovative spirit with a history of reliability. Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as needs change. Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser). Bonus Points For
Clinical externship/rotation in a home-health setting. Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOS, SOFFI, MBSiMP, etc.). Bilingual/Multilingual abilities. Perks
