Travel Nursing Job Details
Location: Anchorage, Alaska (99508)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,560 - $2,740 per week
Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks (your choice)
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
Hours per Week: 40
On-Call: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 18:00 – Monday 07:30)
Weekend Requirement: On-call and approximately 1 Saturday per month
Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks)
Charting System: Epic
Scrubs: Provided
Parking: Free
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand for offer)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency with Epic charting system
Ability to float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) labs as needed
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab for adult and geriatric patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and other interventional cardiology procedures
Administer and monitor procedural sedation
Operate and manage specialized Cath Lab equipment (Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, shockwave, CSI)
Respond to emergencies and provide rapid response as needed
Float to EP or IR labs as required
Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
