University of Utah Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist, Intra-Operative to perform specialized radiologic procedures involving the application of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. This position will operate imaging devices in the operating room, including portable and fixed fluoroscopy, portable CT, an O-Arm, and portable radiography, and provide direct patient care. Overview

Perform CT and special procedures using CT scanners, including portable and angiographic high-pressure injectors. Operate portable imaging devices, such as portable X-ray machines, O-Arm, and C-Arm. Coordinate technical services in the operating room. Communicate with surgical staff to establish correct site, type of surgery, and placement of equipment in the room. Perform angiographic or radiology interventional procedures. Maintain equipment integrity. Assist in reducing waste by properly utilizing resources and materials. Approach management with proposed solutions to problems. Ensure new procedures and protocols are implemented as designed. Analyze images for quality. Perform necessary radiology functions in Epic Radiant. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated potential ability to perform essential functions as outlined above. Ability to provide care to the population served. Demonstrated knowledge of life span growth and development principles. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record databases. Qualifications
ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R) (ARRT). Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
