Performs routine tests and analyses in a laboratory using appropriate technical equipment and instruments. Performs diagnostic laboratory tests and examinations according to standardized procedures, records, and reports results. Duties
Performs specialized tests on patients, including sample collection, vestibule tests, bio-electronic exercising, physiological function tests, andrology, and endocrine tests to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Performs chemical, physical, or biological tests and supports research projects. Operates laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines, and pH meters. Plans, sets up, and conducts controlled experiments and trials. Records and analyzes data. Calculates test results, logs, and reports findings to the supervisor. Conducts daily quality control, calibrates, and adjusts instruments prior to testing. Compiles, enters, graphs data, and files reports. Inspects and makes minor repairs to laboratory equipment, assesses needs for supplies and equipment orders. Performs additional duties as needed to fulfill the role. Job Requirements
Required Education:
High School Diploma. Preferred:
Associate's Degree in Biological or Physical Science. Skills
Knowledge of laboratory procedures Proper handling of chemicals and biohazardous materials Mathematical calculation skills in various units Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or relevant programs Attention to detail and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication Certifications:
None Working Conditions
Physical: Standing for long periods, manual dexterity, walking, talking, lifting up to 20 pounds. Environmental: Laboratory environment with potential exposure to biohazards, bloodborne pathogens, or chemicals. Additional Information
