BayCare is currently in search of our newest Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Sonographer who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare’s top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.
Status: Full Time Shift Days/Hours: Mon thru Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (May Vary) Location: St Petersburg, FL Weekend Work: None On Call: No Always in person Travel required to Tampa and Sarasota when needed

Responsibilities:
Perform clinical and diagnostic echocardiograms and pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patient’s inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings and for assisting in other areas of the Pediatric Non-Invasive Lab. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required BLS (Basic Life Support) Required RDCS (Sonography) - within 1 year; Or - RCS (Sonography) - within 1 year. Required Technical;
Preferred
Associates - Related Field Required 6 months of Echocardiology experience Required 6 months of Pediatric experience Travel required to Tampa and Sarasota when needed

Ability to document and record cardiac pathology in order for the physician to render a diagnosis Ability to work independently as a care team member Professional interaction with team members Effective communication skills, detailed oriented and ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances Ability to recognize a variety of different types of cardiac defects and demonstrate the ability to tailor the exam based on the defect and patient cooperation
