What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client/patient treatment goals
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within designated timeframes
Develop and document treatment plans based on client assessments and state standards
Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on cases
Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Willingness to become licensed in additional states as required
Ability to provide telehealth services, with training provided
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders and mental health issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorders
Experience with training and supervisory techniques in mental health settings
Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing clear reports
Ability to establish effective relationships through various communication methods
Familiarity with legal requirements and court procedures related to mental health treatment
