Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper, addressing the whole patient and treating them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patients’ needs and find joy in the variety of work and settings. You collaborate with peers and make referrals when needed. You put patients first, ensuring they and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Powerback by 2x.
