A large, academically affiliated program in Kansas City is excited to add stroke physicians and outpatient neurology specialists to its growing neuroscience institute including General neurology, Behavioral, Neuromuscular, Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, and Headache. Their stroke program is highly regarded and ranked in the top 10 nationally. Physicians will rotate through their comprehensive stroke center and primary stroke center. Stroke Highlights
Neurohospitalist opportunity with vascular neurology volume M-F, 7am-5pm shift schedule APP support Clinical Faculty appointment available H-1B visa support available 6 weeks of PTO and 2 weeks of CME Exceptional compensation package The program treats twice as many cases as the national average (4x the regional average) but has less bad outcomes than the national average. Their door to needle time is 45 minutes Outpatient Subspecialty Highlights
Majority subspecialty volume for Behavioral, Epilepsy, Movement and Headache specialists Opportunities to develop a headache fellowship General neurology position either majority outpatient or inpatient outpatient split M-F Schedule with 1:6 weekend community hospital call. 50% of calls are telemedicine and 50% in person with APP support Leadership opportunities available Clinical Faculty appointment available Research is encouraged H-1B visa support Movement Disorder Leadership Highlights
