Salary and Benefits

Starting Salary: $75,000 + based on experience

Hiring Bonus: $15,000

Schedule: Monday‑Friday (flexibility needed), fully on‑site

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Pennsylvania SLP License.

Strong background in feeding and swallowing disorders with adults strongly preferred.

Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles, clinical application of severe communication deficits with individuals with acquired brain injury, neurological disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Experience with challenging behaviors, AAC with nonverbal individuals.

Minimum of 2 years experience in special education field/speech and language pathology.

Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to assigned caseload utilizing an integrated therapy model by implementing functional and appropriate goals and objectives.

Provide comprehensive feeding and swallowing evaluations and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.

Participate as member of all assigned clients’ interdisciplinary teams; complete assessments, evaluations, formulation of goals and objectives, and progress monitoring.

Participate in new admission protocols; conduct comprehensive assessments within first 90 days of admission; attend pre‑admission meetings and review medical/therapeutic evaluations and current ISP/IPP.

Attend monthly IDT meetings of assigned clients as needed; communicate proposals or modifications to existing goals, plans, services.

Provide staff training to day program and residential staff on SLP goals, objectives, feeding protocols, and general language/communication topics.

Support team model including client ratio support for day program/residential staff, data collection, group management, and daily living skills as needed.
