Overview
We seek applicants for part-time instructors to teach for the IDPH-approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program within the College\'s Health Sciences division. Positions are available at both the Normal and Lincoln, IL campuses. Responsibilities
Teach in the IDPH-approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program as part of the College\'s Health Sciences division. Contribute to course delivery, student assessment, and adherence to program standards as part-time faculty. Qualifications
Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure Two (2) years of nursing experience with at least one (1) year of experience in one of the following areas: Teaching theory in an accredited nurse training program Providing nursing care, including personal care and activities of daily living, to older adults or for chronically ill adults Provision of long-term care facility services or direct care Availability to be present on campus as needed ADN or diploma nurses are required to complete an IDPH-approved Train the Trainer program that includes instruction in Alzheimer\'s Disease and related dementias of at least four (4) hours or four (4) CEU credits. Registered professional nurses possessing a BSN degree or higher may be exempt from Train the Trainer program completion requirement, but will need to provide documentation of completion of an IDPH-approved specialized workshop, course, seminar, continuing education unit, or other approved training for instruction in Alzheimer\'s Disease and related dementias of at least four (4) hours or four (4) CEU credits.
