Phlebotomist II – Fredericksburg, TX / Kerrville, TX
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist II to join our Quest Diagnostics team at two locations: Fredericksburg, TX and Kerrville, TX. The role includes patient specimen collection, administrative duties, and collaboration with the laboratory team.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in Kerrville, TX
Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in Fredericksburg, TX
Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM in Fredericksburg, TX with rotational weekends
Compensation Pay range: $17.85+ per hour. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
Administer oral solutions as per training.
Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
Obtain identification and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and email.
Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner.
Complete online and in‑person training courses timely.
Qualifications
Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Effective communication in English.
