Overview
The Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) Pediatrics ensures the safety and well-being of each individual assigned to their care. This position provides support and resources to ensure consistent carryover and monitoring of programming to all staff working with residents in both the classroom/day program and residential setting. The QIDP assists in training direct care staff and serves as a communication liaison between the Day Program, Program Coordinator, direct care staff and residents. The QIDP ensures compliance with Federal, State and The Center for Discovery policies and procedures. Qualifications
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field, along with at least one year of relevant experience at The Center. The role requires individuals who are proactive, have a strong desire to lead, possess excellent communication skills, and are self-motivated. Candidates should be capable of training staff and understand the value of a team-based approach. Flexibility in work hours, a strong interest in professional growth within the agency, and effective time management skills are also essential. Base pay
Base pay range: $22.00/hr – $22.00/hr Seniority level
