Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in CO and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
CPR certification.
Preferred Experience
Open with years of clinical experience.
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
Clinical experience as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
Availability to attend virtual and/or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement, not applicable in FL & TN).
