Optum New York (formerly Optum Tri‑State NY) seeks a Part‑Time Radiologic Technologist in Brooklyn, NY. Optum is a clinician‑led care organization redefining how clinicians work and live. Monday thru Friday, no weekends. Primary Responsibilities

Prep and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. Explain procedures and process to patients. Move imaging equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient characteristics and desired image quality; adjust equipment controls accordingly. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff. Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures. Process images and review them for proper identification and quality control. Prepare images for reading by the radiologist or requesting physician. Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed. Required Qualifications

High school diploma / GED. License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New York. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days. Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist. Experience with Epic EMR software. Orthopedic experience. Pay and Benefits
