Waterview Hills Campus is home to Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare: two facilities committed to providing outstanding Subacute Rehab and Long-Term Skilled Nursing Care. Responsibilities
Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond appropriately to resident/family needs within the LPN scope of practice. Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities to deliver quality direct resident care and promote safety/quality direct care to residents. Perform/ administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects. Communicate and collaborate with care team members to revise/update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings including lab/test results, incidents, and concerns. Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents’ responses. Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities, considering needs and personnel competency. Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of Nursing. Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN. Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care. Spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health. Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents. Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills. Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff. Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED; vaccination offered based on eligibility guidance from CDC.
