Our outpatient clinic is seeking a pelvic health therapist to join our team in Apple Valley, CA! Wings Physiotherapy, Inc welcomes you for an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, flexible, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including taking detailed medical histories and performing physical exams.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Diagnose and assess a range of conditions affecting women’s health, such as pelvic pain, incontinence, and postpartum recovery.
Incorporate techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education tailored to women's health issues.
Provide therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and function.
Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions, including those with a history of trauma or chronic pain.
Work closely with other healthcare providers, including, but not limited to, gynecologists, obstetricians, urologists, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
Physical Therapy License
Completion of at least level 1 and level 2 APTA or Herman and Wallace Pelvic courses
Understanding of various pelvic floor disorders, including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-surgical conditions.
