Overview Marshall Health Network Nursing is seeking a dedicated

Ambulatory Clinical Nursing Informaticist and Analytics Coordinator

to lead clinical transformation initiatives by leveraging Information Technology to enhance patient care delivery. This role involves planning, reviewing, and managing all activities related to clinical transformation, providing managerial, technical, and motivational leadership aligned with our strategic plan, values, and objectives. The position drives improvements through detailed analysis of clinical processes and workflows, employing change management strategies that reflect the patient’s perspective on continuity of care, departmental integration, and multidisciplinary best practices.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of an overall strategy for clinical transformation using Clinical Information Systems (CIS) technology.

Serve as a leader of the Clinical Documentation Committee, collaborating with Clinical Training and Development teams for process change facilitation and policy updates.

Plan, organize, and assist in NCIS implementations and the infrastructure required to support these applications, aligning with current and future technological needs and supporting the Organization’s Alliance business goals.

Identify opportunities to optimize clinical processes, increasing efficiencies and reducing unnecessary variation.

Actively seek input from physicians, nurses, and other professionals to identify problems, design and implement solutions, and communicate findings to clinical staff, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Information Systems Division (ISD) leadership.

Promote CIS utility, adoption, and sustainability through multidisciplinary teams and develop infrastructure for quality reporting.

Maintain effective communication between Facility Administration, Departments, System Executives, Service Lines, System Collaboratives and Committees, and Information Systems to promote Informatics and IS Division credibility and value.

Support all Informatics requests related to projects, service requests, and problem tickets through established channels within nursing and IS Division.

Assist in defining project success metrics for technology deployments.

Provide high-quality technology and change management consulting services to ensure data integrity, vocabulary consistency, and optimized reporting methods, maintaining high informatics standards.

Actively participate with implementation teams during installation or enhancement of computer functions affecting diagnostic and clinical areas.

Assume shared responsibility for the success of assigned projects.

Demonstrate and present system functions and capabilities to visitors and other audiences, showcasing the leading-edge and comprehensive nature of the Organization’s Alliance.
