Position Specifics We are seeking a highly motivated

Research Technologist

to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assist with molecular biology experiments, cell culture, and metabolic analyses using cutting‑edge techniques, including induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived organoid models and metabolic flux assays.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mammalian cell culture, including airway epithelial cells and iPSC-derived organoids.

Conduct molecular biology and biochemistry experiments such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, and immunostaining.

Assist in metabolic assays, including targeted metabolite quantification, Seahorse metabolic flux analysis, and stable isotope tracing.

Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental procedures and data entry.

Support laboratory organization, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and reagent preparation.

Collaborate with postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and other team members on ongoing projects.

Participate in data analysis, presentation of results, and preparation of manuscripts or reports as needed.

Preferred Requirements

At least 1 year of research laboratory experience (academic or industrial).

Hands‑on experience with mammalian cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques.

Familiarity with metabolic assays, organoid culture, or iPSC models is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications Bachelor's Degree. No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None.

Salary & Benefits The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $34,800.00 - $50,500.00.
