Raritan Valley Community College is seeking Part‑Time Adjunct‑Instructors to teach lectures and labs in a variety of general education Biology courses, including Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Human Biology, Principles of Biology, and Intro to Nutrition.

Job Description
Anatomy & Physiology
– The course provides an introductory study of the structure and function of the human body, covering chemical, cellular, and tissue levels and the anatomy and physiology of the body systems.
Human Biology
– An introductory study of the human body and the scientific method as it applies to human health, emphasizing the diversity of the human body and general understanding of health and disease.
Principles of Biology
– Focuses on common processes and structures among living beings, covering energetics, reproduction, development, inheritance, evolution, and the use of the scientific method.
Intro to Nutrition
– Introduces non‑science majors to essential nutrients, current nutrition topics, and methods of scientific inquiry, including the relationship between nutrients and disease prevention.
Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s degree in the discipline.
Teaching experience required; college‑level experience preferred.

Additional Information Teaching experience is required, college‑level experience is preferred.
