JOB SUMMARY The Baltimore Orioles are seeking seasonal Certified Athletic Trainers for the 2026 Season. The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide game, practice coverage, daily treatments, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and maintain medical records during spring training and the season. The ATC will report directly to the Baltimore Orioles Minor League Medical Coordinator. The position is seasonal, hourly paid, without health benefits; it includes travel to and from home residence, a housing allowance, meals, and is eligible for overtime hours.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide care and management of injuries and illnesses, including prevention, evaluation, maintenance, and rehabilitation protocols.
Maintain medical records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in accordance with best practices and minimum standards.
Maintain a clean, organized athletic training room with up-to-date sterilization standards.
Daily communicate player injury status with Staff Athletic Trainers and Minor League Medical Coordinator.
Oversee administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by Minor League Medical Coordinator, Assistant Medical Coordinator, and Staff Athletic Trainers.
Work primarily in Sarasota during Spring Training (March) and at an affiliate for the season (April–September). Specific affiliate location to be determined later.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
National Athletic Trainer’s Association – Board of Certification in good standing.
Eligible and in good standing for MD and FL State Licensure (VA Licensure for Norfolk affiliate).
CPR/AED certification.
Desired:
Previous baseball experience.Bilingual (English and Spanish).
