Dental Assistant
to join our team.

More About The Role
Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
Review patients' health history to ensure quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
Assist dentists chairside during procedures, following state dental practice act guidelines.
Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
Manage supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
Collaborate with the team to implement systems and improve workflow.

Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
VA x-ray certification.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Understanding of HIPAA and data safeguarding, with regular training.
Preferred Experience
Over 2 years of dental experience.
Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
Dental assisting certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
Prolonged sitting and standing.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
Availability for periodic training sessions.
TB test prior to employment, with exceptions in FL & TN.
