Job Description: Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Interventional Radiologist supporting the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. This contract position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (~40 hours per two‑week period). On‑site services include Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology. Shared on‑call responsibilities.
Job Requirements
Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
Current, valid, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
Competency in Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiography (IR).
Provide onsite imaging services in Abdominal/GU, Breast, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
