Location: Redding, CA 96001 – Northern California healthcare jobs
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: November 3, 2025 – End: February 1, 2026)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing – Operating Room Registered Nurse
Healthcare Setting: Surgery/Operating Room
Schedule: 5 x 8-hour day shifts per week (Monday – Friday)
Shift Times: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM and 10:45 AM – 07:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
On-Call: 1–2 days per week; weekend call every other or every third weekend
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100–$2250 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and valid California RN License
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Acute care hospital experience required
Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery preferred
Successful completion of onboarding exams and screenings
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures
Support pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
Accurately document patient care and surgical outcomes
Educate and support patients and families throughout the surgical process
