Job Title: Experienced Customer Service Representative
Location: Shelton, Connecticut

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our dedicated and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding service in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check‑in to check‑out
Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and client communications
Maintain accurate and organized patient records and client files
Process payments and assist with billing inquiries
Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure a smooth daily workflow
Provide compassionate support to clients during both routine visits and emotional situations
Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a medical office environment
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Familiarity with Cornerstone veterinary software system is a plus but not required
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Compassionate, professional, and detail‑oriented approach to client care
