Physical Therapist – Excelsior Care Group
Apply for the Physical Therapist role at Excelsior Care Group in West Orange, New Jersey. Base pay: $60.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Evaluate residents, develop appropriate treatment goals, and implement the physical therapy treatment plan.
Design and fit adaptive devices, training residents on device use.
Select physical agent modalities suited to each individual’s needs and clinical diagnosis.
Instruct residents in mobility skills and evaluate progress, attitudes, and behavior related to rehabilitative potential.
Promote a safe environment and enforce elimination of fire and safety hazards.
Attend and contribute to resident care, staffing conferences, and other related meetings.
Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards.
Conduct training programs and participate in training medical, nursing, and other personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
Job Requirements
Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association per its requirements.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of New Jersey.
