Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician
Position Type: 1-year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $28 per hour
Position Summary We are seeking an Analytical Laboratory Technician to join the Regulatory Analytical Sciences team within Global Regulatory Sciences R&D. This position supports analytical testing and sample processing to aid in product registration and research chemical development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and the ability to work effectively in a regulated laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, weigh, and extract samples to support product registration and research studies.
Conduct laboratory testing and generate data as directed by principal investigators.
Support daily lab operations, including sample shipments, consumable ordering, and data entry.
Prepare solutions, process and aliquot samples, and perform extractions following established protocols.
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, such as:
Balances, grinders, centrifuges
Gas chromatographs (GC), high‑performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC), and mass spectrometers (MS)
Use LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and automated liquid handling equipment.
Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with
GLP standards
and laboratory safety procedures.
Collaborate with instrument owners and lab operations teams to ensure equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry preferred).
General knowledge of chemistry and laboratory techniques.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Ability to conduct research and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with quantitative weighing, extraction, and sample cleanup techniques from complex agricultural matrices.
Hands‑on experience with
LC-MS/MS
analysis of small molecules.
Understanding of
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
and related documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
