Medical Surgical Technician – ACN – Pediatrics – Weill Cornell
Location:
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell Pediatrics) – Must be on‑site and commute to NYP.
Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
Demonstrate excellence when expertise and superior service make all difference. Be the eyes and ears of an award‑winning nursing department. Collaborate with nurses to raise the bar of patient care and put patients first. Take initiative and balance the perfect blend of patient care and clinical practices. Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in our Ambulatory Care Network.
Key Responsibilities
Provide phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring.
Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals to maintain patient safety.
Ensure a clean and sanitized environment for all patient care activities.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Preferred Criteria
Medical Assistant certification.
Professional experience in an outpatient setting.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
Required Criteria
High School diploma or GED.

Compensation Salary Range:
$31.60–$34.65 per hour.
