Sign on Bonus: up to $2500.00 for eligible applicants Location: Intermountain Women's Health Specialists Shift: Full-time, 40 hrs./wk., Monday-Friday Benefits Eligible: Yes Salary listed is for a Ultrasound Tech level II Starting Pay: $42.66+ based on experience Job Essentials For Ultrasound Tech II

Maintains American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. Ensures proper patient identification, orders verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality. Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns. Understands and operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images. Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions. Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures. Demonstrates proficiency with all clinical equipment within the department and all exam types. Minimum Qualifications

Must have completed a minimum of two additional years of experience relevant to the department post obtaining Ultrasound Tech I American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Registry Successful completion of one additional registry pertinent to the department beyond Ultrasound Technologist I BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers) Preferred Qualifications

ARDMS registered in at least two of the following registries: OB/GYN, ABD, BR, and/or FE Ultrasound experience Previous experience in an MFM and/or OB/GYN Clinic Physical Requirements

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. Location
