We are searching for Full-Time and Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for all shifts, including 12 hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) for Days and Nights!

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents

Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians

Medication administration

Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies

Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes

Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy

Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.

Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.

Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.

According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.

In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises caregiving by other nursing personnel in selected situations.

Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.

Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.

Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State

CPR Certification required

Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
