ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving about 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist, including performing treatment, communicating with the supervising PT and other health care professionals, and maintaining appropriate documentation. Responsibilities
Performing treatment as directed by the Physical Therapist Communicating with the supervising PT and other health care professionals Appropriate documentation Participates in departmental/team quality improvement activities Delegates appropriate tasks to PT technicians and supervises Educates self, peers, patients, and students and assists with new employee orientation Assists with or performs special projects Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree or higher High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education Specify: Physical Therapist Assistant Registration Or Certification

PRN coverage as needed at both ECU Bertie and Chowan campuses (acute and outpatient locations), weekend rotation; average once a month. General Statement
