Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience Clinical experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic, and general surgery required Eligible travel nurses must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette, MI Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams in neurosurgery, orthopedic, and general surgery cases Maintain a sterile surgical environment in compliance with hospital and healthcare protocols Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgery Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care Accurately document all aspects of perioperative patient care
