Ohio Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a
Dental Assistant
in
Cleveland OH and surrounding areas
to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our in-school dental program offers a workday that ends with the school day, with no nights or weekends, providing a diverse and different working environment for those who want to make a difference in the dental field.
Responsibilities
Dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics
Digital X-ray imaging
Patient records charting
Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance
Travel daily to and from school sites
Qualifications
X-Ray Certification
CPR/BLS certification
Working experience as a Dental Assistant
Digital X-ray imaging experience
Valid driver license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel to schools across counties
Works well with children
Team player and able to work on a small team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for setting up equipment)
Benefits and Compensation
Evenings, weekends and summers off
School day schedule (about 6 – 7 hours; typically 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.)
Benefit package (health, dental, vision)
Flexible scheduling and unique work experience
Full and part-time positions
$17-$24 per hour
State-of-the-art portable dental equipment and digital radiography
