Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Tucson, AZ, to cover a maternity leave from November 10 through February 10. This contract position involves working closely with elementary-aged children to provide speech and language support aimed at improving communication skills and promoting academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals.
Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC preferred).
Eligibility or experience as an SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) practitioner is a plus.
Prior experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
