Overview
Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Dermatologist to join our hospital-employed dermatology team at our new Green Valley facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our Dermatology team is growing due to patient demand and the addition of our first MOHS surgery service with the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the development of a new clinic within an established, community-focused organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and eager to drive clinic growth. Our experienced team provides business and administrative support to ensure the success of the new practice and physician team. The practice includes general, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Cone Health Dermatology is a physician-led practice with a collaborative, patient-focused team. This is an opportunity to partner in the continued development of a new clinic within an established organization. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Conduct skin examinations and interpret medical histories. Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments, including medication and therapies. Educate patients on skin health and preventative care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with the latest dermatology advancements and best practices. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC electronic medical records. Provide medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology procedures. Required Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Dermatology. Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina. Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship training in dermatology subspecialties. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC. Education/Training:
Required: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school; degrees from other countries equivalent to US MD/DO may be considered per NC Medical Board policies. Experience:
Required: Completed appropriate residency training (and fellowship training as required). Licensure/Certification/Registry/Listing:
Fully licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina. Meets Moses Cone Health System Medical Staff bylaws and obtains appropriate medical staff privileges. Valid and current DEA registration with no involuntary limitations on prescriptive authority. Maintains professional liability insurance as required by MCHS (currently $1 million per incident, $3 million aggregate) with proof of coverage. Equal Opportunity:
